An individualized approach

Janie builds on each child’s unique strengths while addressing areas of need through meaningful, developmentally appropriate activities.

Her experience includes sensory processing and regulation, fine motor development, visual-motor integration, handwriting, motor coordination, and functional skills for everyday activities.

She has completed training in DIR®/Floortime® and Handwriting Without Tears®, which inform her approach to supporting children’s development, engagement, and participation.

Working together across home and school

Janie currently provides private occupational therapy services in children’s homes and schools. She also serves as an occupational therapy evaluator for several school districts in Westchester County and as the occupational therapy consultant at The King School in Stamford, Connecticut.

Collaboration with families, caregivers, and educators is central to her work. Together, they identify practical strategies that support children across their everyday environments.
